A single tweet from Conde Nast’s CEO, Bob Sauerberg, put all of the rumours to relaxation.

“Anna Wintour is an extremely gifted and inventive chief whose affect is past measure,” he wrote. “She is integral to the way forward for our firm’s transformation and has agreed to work with me indefinitely in her position as Vogue journal’s editor-in-chief and creative director of Conde Nast.”
