A 69-year-old man is dealing with expenses of gross indecency and indecent assault associated to alleged historic sexual offences, based on Truro police.

A launch issued late Friday said ​that Truro resident Arthur Chestnut was arrested earlier within the day.

Police say the alleged offences, involving two “younger males,” date again to between 1968 and 1970.

Police mentioned they launched their investigation in response to complaints acquired from two grownup males this previous June and August.

“Our investigation leads us to imagine there are different victims,” reads the discharge. 

Police are asking anybody else who might have had a “comparable kind of expertise” to contact them.
