A Burnaby RCMP officer is recovering after her arm was damaged throughout successful and run final Wednesday.
Now, officers are releasing surveillance footage of the suspect and suspect car as they ask the general public for assist.
Cpl. Mike Kalanj says the incident started the morning of July 4 at Willingdon and Parker Avenue when an officer on foot tried to drag over a driver after she noticed him allegedly utilizing an digital gadget whereas behind the wheel.
“The motive force didn’t cease, hitting the officer and continued south on Willingdon Avenue. The officer suffered a damaged arm and was launched from hospital later that day,” Kalanj stated.
