A Syrian refugee who had been dwelling in an airport since March has been moved to a detention centre, from which he could possibly be deported again to Syria “at any time.”

Hassan Al Kontar, 37, was arrested Monday after seven months stranded within the Kuala Lumpur airport.

He was arrested for being in a restricted space with no boarding move, however Malaysian authorities have since determined to not pursue prices.
